Insights – into the Wemhöner Collection

Location
Osram Höfe, Berlin

Curator
Philipp Bollmann

This first public exhibition of the Wemhöner Collection was conceived and organized in 2014 by the collection’s curator, Philipp Bollmann. At the Osram Höfe in Berlin, insights into the collection were provided through selected works.

In his essay, Roland Nachtigäller expertly elaborates on the subject of collecting, stating that collecting is far more than the accumulation of objects: it is a form of experiencing and appropriating the world. Private art collections emerge from personal encounters, individual perspectives, and passions, reflecting the subjective dialogue between people, art, and the world.
