This publication was produced on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name at Palazzo Dugnani in Milan. Sheltered beneath Tiepolo\u2019s ceiling frescoes at Palazzo Dugnani, the exhibition Hypervisuality<\/em>, featuring six film works from the Wemh\u00f6ner Collection, builds a bridge between the invisible and the visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHyper\u201d here does not emphasize an overabundance of images, as is often attributed to media society, but rather a movement into the border area of what is visually representable. Hypervisuality achieves this transgression with a foray into the art of cinematic estrangement, exemplified by the works New Women<\/em> by Yang Fudong, Fragile<\/em> and 2’59” by Masbedo, Playtime<\/em> by Isaac Julien, and The Swap<\/em> and Deep Gold<\/em> by Julian Rosefeldt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
